We publish here the tools we actually use on engagements, when they are useful outside one. No white paper in exchange for an email address: documents that work as they are, and that also say what they cannot do.

Calendars and commercial trade-offs

Retail calendar 2026-2027 The 58 retail peaks across Europe, the United States and Australia, from September 2026 to December 2027. What other calendars do not give you: for each peak, the date from which a promotion damages your reference price, and therefore the discount you will be allowed to display when the day comes. Plus the reserved wording market by market, and the offset between the three zones on family occasions.

The calendar version carries 81 events, including 37 price-freeze alerts that fire thirty days before each deadline. That is the format we recommend: a calendar you read once gets filed away, a calendar you subscribe to warns you at the moment the decision is taken.

E-commerce compliance calendar The regulatory deadlines in two lists: what already applies, what is coming, and for each deadline the date by which you need to have started. Subscribing adds a preparation alert at D-90 and D-30. Dates move, the Digital Omnibus just proved it by postponing the AI Act: a subscribed calendar corrects itself, an article does not.

Platform choice and compliance

What your platform does, and what it does not Six European obligations weigh on an online shop, and no vendor documentation says clearly which ones it covers. This matrix says it for PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Shopify and Shopware: what is native, what needs a module, what stays on you no matter what. With the verification method and the date, because a platform can fill a cell overnight.

One example of what it teaches: on the 30-day reference price, not one of the four platforms keeps your price history for you. Two of them show a dedicated field and let you fill it in by hand, the other two do not even have the field. It is the obligation everyone assumes is handled, and nowhere is it.

How-to guides

Building the POAS column in Google Ads ROAS compares revenue to spend; POAS compares margin to that same spend, and its break-even is 1 whatever your sector. The two formulas to create, how to send the margin without distorting it, and the two settings that change how you read the whole account. One working session, sitting right next to ROAS.

What will follow here

This page is built to grow. The next resources will follow the same rule: they come out of real work, they are usable without us, and they state their own limits.

In the meantime, most of our written work sits in Dots Papers, our notebook: analysis drawn from engagements, with the self-diagnosis methods that go with it. And if you are looking for what we actually do, that is on the side of our expertise.

A question about one of them?

These documents are designed to be used on their own. If they raise a question about your particular case, promotional calendar, measurement or compliance, write to us: a first conversation with no commitment is often enough to frame the subject.
